Roosevelt Forest
Roosevelt Forest is the only town-owned forest in Connecticut. Roosevelt Forest is comprised of approximately 250 acres and is located in the northern section of Stratford abutting Shelton.
Included in the forest system is a lovely pond, various wetlands, and for the user's benefit, there are playgrounds, picnic tables, picnic shelters, cooking pits, restrooms, walking paths and camp sites. Hiking, horseback riding, cross-countly skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating are all enjoyed here.

Sterling House
Sterling House is a multi-service community center located in the heart of Stratford, Connecticut. The 1886 Romanesque mansion was once the homestead of the Sterling family, one of Stratford's oldest and wealthiest families. The stately house was designed by architect Bruce Price of New York, who also designed Osborne Hall and Welch Hall at Yale University. The homestead's lawns and gardens were originally planned by Frederick Law Olmsted who was the landscape architect of New York's Central Park. Sterling House is included in the National Registry Historic District.
Sterling House has been a mecca for young and old. It is dedicated to serving all ages from the toddler to the senior adult, and provides affordable social, educational and recreational activities which assist them in their positive and healthy development.

Stratford Festival Theatre
In addition to classical works, a variety of performing arts events filled the 1,534-seat auditorium during the years. In 1959 the Theater began to serve as an educational forum for young people and since then, more than 1.5 million students have been exposed to Shakespearean works.
The State of Connecticut transferred the theater's deed to the Town of Stratford on February 8, 2005. The theater is presently closed as the Town reorganizes it's efforts to reopen the theater.
Square One Theatre Company
Welcome to the Square One Theatre Company's website! We are the only full-time, resident theatre currently producing in the Town of Stratford.
Square One is now in its seventeenth season. Along with critical and financial success has come support from greater New Haven and Fairfield counties as well as local businesses and corporations.
Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts

Helicopter Museum
Founded in 1983, this Museum puts the development of the helicopter in perspective with other aviation activities that occurred in Stratford, Connecticut from the early 1900's to today. The current Museum building was repaired and an exhibition set up, with a grant from Avco Lycoming, an engine and aerospace manufacturer located in Stratford for many decades.

Longshore Club Park Golf Course
The 18-hole "Longshore" course at the Longshore Club Park Golf Course facility in Westport, Connecticut features 5,845 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 73. The course rating is 69 and it has a slope rating of 115 on Rye grass. Designed by Orrin E. Smith, the Longshore golf course opened in 1922.
Country Club of Fairfield
The 18-hole "Fairfield" course at the Country Club of Fairfield facility in Fairfield, Connecticut features 6,358 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 71.6 and it has a slope rating of 133. Designed by Seth Raynor, the Fairfield golf course opened in 1914.
Silvermine Golf Club Inc
The 18-hole "Silvermine 2" course at the Silvermine Golf Club Inc facility in Norwalk, Connecticut features 6,077 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 65 and it has a slope rating of 107 on Blue grass. Designed by John E. Warner, the Silvermine 2 golf course opened in 1954.
Woodstock Nature Center
The Woodcock Nature Center has been a private non-profit source of nature and environmental education in Southwestern Connecticut since 1972.
Located on 149 acres of state-protected land, the Woodcock Preserve includes a pond, wetlands, and 3 miles of publicly accessible woodland trails. The Center is home to a variety of living local and exotic creatures including snakes, frogs, and lizards. We also house a handful of injured birds of prey.

Boothe Memorial Park & Museum:
This 32-acre former homestead of the Boothe Family (1663-1949) offers with picnic facilities, rose garden, and wedding garden. Buildings on National Historic Landmark site with displays of early farm equipment, carriages and baskets; trolley history, toll booth exhibit. Hours: Park grounds are open year-round, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Museums and displays are open June 1 through October 1, Tuesday-Friday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, 1-4 p.m. Free admission.
Judson House: Built circa 1750 by Capt. David Judson on the site of his great-grandfather's 1639 stone house, Judson House is a fine example of Georgian achitecture with its impressive broken scroll pediment entry.
